A room full of 250 animal-lovers at the Voiceless Awards gave me a perfect opportunity to introduce Sky to the world!
Sky is the first book in an interconnected sequence of books written for 12 – 15-year-olds around the world. I hope they will be entertaining, highly relatable books, carrying deeper messages around animal protection. I am motivated to tell stories that appeal to a mainstream audience and introduce them to some thoughts and concepts they may not have considered.
All author proceeds from Sky will go to Voiceless, the animal protection institute.
Here's the model on the book cover and all round lovely person, Sabine Jamieson, who came runner-up in Australia's Next Top Model this year and her sister, Nakisha.
Also featured on the book cover is Sabine and Nakisha's grandmother's dog, Bella. Sweet!
